Information on Original Development

The original 36 acres was purchased in 1996.  The next step was dealing with the Corps of Engineers to get approval for a 20 stall boat dock, which took several years.  The development of the property created 38 lots with roads, utilities, etc..  The first lot closed at the end of 1999.  The 20 stall boat dock was finished at the beginning of 2000.  As of March 2002, 26 lots and 16 boat slips have sold, with 8 homes being completed.

Information on New Development

Within the last year, we have purchased an additional 32 acres that is adjacent to the North of the original 36 acres (See Arial following).  This portion contains a "small lake" (about 2 acres).  We are developing it so there are lots that back up to the lake.  This new acreage contains many large trees as did the original development.  We have drilled a swell to keep the small lake full all year.  We are currently building the road to develop 10 lots in the first phase of this portion.  In the very near future we will develop the second phase which will be approximately another 15 lots.

We received approval from the Corps of Engineers to install another 20 stall boat dock and this was installed in February 2002.  Half of the slips are 13' x 28' and the other half are 13' x 32'.  It is attached to the current dock and uses the same walkway.
